The Quad S-C centre speaker delivers a dynamic sound quality that will match up perfectly with any of the other speakers in the Quad S range. Quad S-C Centre Speaker uses a vented box loudspeaker design, using woven carbon fibre cones, bass/midrange driver and ribbon treble driver-precisely fitted in a sandwich construction using a crossover network. This unique composition works towards delivering flawless sound quality.
Rounded edges at the front and rear accentuate the overall look. The sandwich construction does another job-it eliminates panel resonance with its MDF and high-density particleboard layering. The Quad S-C Centre Speaker can handle high-end amplification with its powerful ribbon unit. Immersed in magnetic feed, the Ribbon Tweeter efficiently accomplishes dual functions-as a Voice Coil and Sound Radiator. The three passive Auxiliary Bass Radiators in the vented box loudspeaker ensure precise and accurate bass reproduction.
